So you're all watching the rough equivalent of paint drying, with comentary by a bunch of buffoons and you're suprised that it's a train wreck?

I'm a casualty of the Charter/NFL Network wars...

...anyone catch Matt Millen being forced to give a televised apology for what I assume was a "stupid Polack" joke to Jaworski?

I have been watching on NFL Network, can't see why people are watching on ESPN when so many people here hate ESPN.

Honestly?? Deion Sanders. Couldn't stand to listen to / watch him. Just....couldn't...do it....

Aside from saying "God bless you" to every guy he interviewed, Deion was pretty good.

Don't get NFL Network. Stuck with ESPN.

I don't think NFL Network's coverage, today at least, is any better. Eisen is great and Davis is solid, but Mack Brown isn't adding anything and the other guy bugs me for some reason.

Day 2 has been worlds better.

It's a shame Wingo isn't the lead NFL host. Berman reminds me of this horrible, blustery old sports editor I used to work for.

He was terrible at his job. Yet he stuck around because nobody had the balls to move on to someone better.

It's hyper bull**** to the 25th power. More than half of the guys drafted won't become household names. The NBA, MLB and NFL drafts are jokes. What's even worse is that so many people gear their days to watching this **** on TV. Damn.

Millen should be forced to apologize for ****ing breathing. As should any network who employs his dim-witted incompetent ass to discuss football, unless they dress him up in a clown suit, put a propeller-beanie on his head and sit him backwards on a donkey while he does it.

Remember, this is the same ****head mother****er who spewed homophobic insults while talking about one of his own players on a radio talk show.

Now, let's talk about his record as a general manager.

Yes Spnited, and I am working on a trade in my NL-only, auction, keeper fantasy baseball league.

Whatever the **** that means.

So did the Stillers get good value in the 5th round with some guy who'll never play?

Word. Millen shouldn't have a job anywhere near football, unless it's cleaning toilets on Sundays at Ford Field. That would be pretty approriate when you consider his tenure with the Lions and what he produced. :)

And I'm a casualty of the war between Suddenlink and good customer service, which the latter is losing badly here.

Layman, I could not agree more with Mel, McShay, Jaws, and Wingo as traffic cop.

To watch the 3 analysts duke it out was worth hanging around the house this morning.

The only thing I wished was having Chucky there.

I was wishing for an "Analyst Deathmatch" between all of them sans Wingo. Wingo just has to ring the bell when the last guy was left standing.

Casualty of Cablevision / NFL wars. Caught Millen apology. Had the quality of Saturday night live skit. Did anyone catch the original event that lead up the the apology?

Surprised Millen agreed. Seemed awful degrading. "Matthew if you don't want detention you stand up in front of class now and apologize to the class."

i watched less than an hour of the whole three days, and I honestly don't think i missed a thing. caught the tebow pick and that was as good as any Three Stooges skit. caught the Erin Andrews interview with clausen and wanted to puke.
the whole thing was like something on the springer or steve wilkos show with everyone talking at once.

Apparently he called Jaworski a "Polack."

His response:

"Earlier in the telecast I made a humorous remark to Ron Jaworski that could have been misconstrued to people of Polish decent, and I want to apologize ... I've enjoyed a great relationship with Ron Jaworski, very playful over the years and we jab each other back and forth and that has absolutely nothing to do with my comments towards Ron or anybody of Polish decent, so I apologize. I meant nothing by it."

I absolutely loathe Berman. He's horrific. How ESPN can justify keeping him on board boggles the mind.

And, I agree, poor Kiper. If I want to hear analysis and insight, I want it from the guy who I know has been poring over video tapes and stats the last nine months.
