Entourage 4/8

I don't think it had to. Set up a dynamic between Gugino and Piven's characters and had a nice little storyline at the end.

Didn't need much substance for this one. Just glad to have the show back.

Entourage has always been Seinfeldian in its ways with me, although different in that I enjoy it and despise everything Seinfeld. I don't remember ever watching Entourage and thinking "Wow, what a great plot!"

A fluffy dessert after the dense (and excellent) meal that was The Sopranos.

If any show knows how to make her look good, it would be that one. Downright spectacular.

Typical Episode 1 blueprint for HBO -- setting things up, looking back, looking a little bit ahead.

Yay, an Entourage thread. I love this show. Anyone else wish that, despite it's lack of depth, that it was an hour long?

Or at least 30 minutes long? tonight, with the recap and opening credits, it was still over by 11:27 -- about a 23-minute episode. Then again, the Sopranos wasted a couple minutes tonight setting up the Tony/Bobby thrown down.

I was just trying to give people a mental image of lovely Carla getting double-teamed and, yes, you are welcome.
Vince banging her is too obvious, plus Drama chasing after her all season is too obvious as well. But since this is Entourage, obvious is key so both will happen. Maybe they run a train on her? All four take turns, not obvious, so it won't happen, but again, a pleasant mental image. Enjoy.

Jay needs a cold shower or a warm towel

I guess it set up the rest of the season nicely, but I didn't laugh even once.
Aren't there supposed to be a few funny lines, at least?
I thought the writing had slipped a couple notches. Which is too bad, because average acting ability needs good words to raise its level.
And I was looking forward to it.
