AVIDGOLFER Houston, a subsidiary of Avid Media Ventures, is looking a highly motivated individual who is interested in developing and growing this publication to be the dominant golfing publication in the Houston. This candidate must be a talented and ambitious editor who can managed the editorial content of the bi-monthly publication and lead a staff of freelance writers.
The successful applicant must be strong in many areas, from writing stories, features, columns, copy editing and directing the editorial direction of the publication. The candidate also must be willing to develop and maintain contacts with the Houston-area golf professionals and industry leaders.
Strong writing and editing skills, and a willingness to work some nights and weekends are required. Extensive golf knowledge is a necessity.
