I knew they were doing another one, but I didn't know any details.

Ed Helms was on Nerdist and said he's starring in the sequel as Rusty. Christina Applegate is playing his wife, Leslie Mann is playing grown up Audrey and he said they would be stopping in to see the grandparents (Chevy Chase and Beverly D'Angelo).

I'm not hating this.

I think this can be pulled off.

I think it's actually a federal law now that in each successive 'Vacation' movie, a new pair of actors must play the Griswold kids. It's a one-and-done role.

Dana Barron also played Audrey in Christmas Vacation 2: Cousin Eddie's Island Adventure. I wish I didn't know that.

Maybe Jane Krakowski can make a cameo. I didn't see Randy Quaid on the IMDB page, so maybe he's in the "too bat**** crazy to work with" category.

I would watch that. It will just be a matter of time until the show runner decides working with Chase isn't worth the headache.

The Star Trek reboot was a better movie than any of the ones before it. That includes the original cast and Next Generation movies.

There's also a premise where you think, "Oh that could be funny."

There was probably a discussion where they said, "How can we do a sequel and use Chevy as little as possible?"
