I'm about to put a ****load of CD's for sale -- somewhere.
Is it better to do it on eBay and hope, Half.com just to have it there and I can send when I get an order without worrying about a sale or say **** it and try Amazon?

Sell them on Amazon. List them individually. Lowball whoever has the lowest price. Make a couple bucks on shipping.

I don't remember. It should be listed on their help screens.

CDs don't go for much anyway, so you won't get a lot. If you list them individually on Amazon it is simple (you can tie into the record of the CD already on there, so it looks nice), and you can set your own price. You can see what the CDs are going for and price accordingly.

And I would sell them there, but the less I have to deal with "I'll give you 50 cents for this unplayed CD of 'Michael Jackson's No. 1 Hits'" the better....

Do you have a used music store in your town? There is a place where I went to college that gives about $3 or $4 per CD you sell them. The store then sells it for about double that. The store has a pricing guide, so some cds might be worth more than others. You might be able to make money and not deal with shipping that way.

I did that about a year ago and then sold them all at a local used CD, books, DVD shop. I'm sure I got less for them than if I'd sold them elsewhere, or one by one, but at least I was done with them all at once.

This is the correct answer. Even if you get $2 per CD, that's still nearly $250, and you don't have to deal with shipping 100-120 CDs at the P.O. individually. Blech, that would be a mess.

CD store took 29 of 62. Some I couldn't take because they were comps with the bar code out; others had slight imprfections in the surface. The manager at FYE was a stone cold *****. I felt sorry for the clerk helping on me...

Slappy, I sold most of my CD collection on eBay a year or so ago.

Sell them seperately for 99 cents. Charge $3.50 for shipping.

If you ship them First Class (it's actually cheaper than Media Mail and gets there quicker), it should cost less than $2 so right there you're making $1.50 on the shipping plus the 99 cents (at least) you're making from one bid.
