Donaghy fixed NBA games and Stern/NBA likely covered it up.

2 year investigation. NBA portrayed Donaghy as a rogue ref who only bet on games but did not fix them. ESPN calls bull****, names names, has quotes, does statistical analysis. Like I said

The only court that matters is that of public opinion because the statutes of limitation have long expired.

But I’ll grant you that everyone who watched the 2001 West Finals knows the NBA has been phoney baloney from the get-go.
There’s a monumental difference between rouge ref and league in on it.

Great story with some amazing details. Impressed that ESPN published it given how deep in the sack it is with the league.

I’d love to see video clips of some of the calls in question.

True, but didn’t the piece drop on Friday? Nice news dump if that’s the case. How much airtime do you think this got on Sportscenter or any of their NBA shows?

The story came out on Tuesday.

I'm kind of surprised Donaghy hasn't mysteriously driven his car into a telephone pole or something.

I think in a basketball game that you can there is always a foul that can be called or ignored. If I was going to buy off a football official I would try to get to the umpire because there is ususally a holding call that cam be made or not.
