Helmsley will: $12M trust for dog, nothing for 2 grandkids
NEW YORK (AP) -- Leona Helmsley's dog will continue to live an opulent life, and then be buried alongside her in a mausoleum. But two of Helmsley's grandchildren got nothing from the late luxury hotelier and real estate billionaire's estate.

Helmsley left her beloved white Maltese, named Trouble, a $12 million trust fund, according to her will, which was made public Tuesday in surrogate court.

She also left millions for her brother, Alvin Rosenthal, who was named to care for Trouble in her absence, as well as two of four grandchildren from her late son Jay Panzirer -- so long as they visit their father's grave site once each calendar year.

Otherwise, she wrote, neither will get a penny of the $5 million she left for each of them.

Helmsley left nothing to two of Jay Panzirer's other children -- Craig and Meegan Panzirer -- for "reasons that are known to them," she wrote.

(I'm cutting story here, for more details on the will, click on the link)

That makes this guy very happy...

What are the odds on one of the two grandkids taking out the poor puppy in revenge?

As a result of their "collective action."

Some idiot girl that I was talking to today says she is planning to do a Helmsley number on her kids and leave everything for her pets to teach them a lesson. That is just plain rotten.

BTW, Dog was here in Halifax and people felt ripped off by the the ticket price and lack of time with him and his wife.

That dog is going to have a hell of a tax bill next January.

Why would people pay to see the Dog?

If I'm paying to see him, I'm not going to him. He needs to come find me.

Maybe the dog can finance NFL QB competitions. My guess is the loser of the competition probably would have to be killed.

I'm also guessing that this rich dog can get any ***** he wants at this point.

Classic headline in today's NY Post, with a pic of Helmsley holding the dog: Rich *****.

I wish that someone would knock down her blasted memorial (which SHE paid for) and either grafitti the **** out of it or bust it up and sell it for scrap. Lord, how do I hate the rich elite in this country!

I guess the grandkids who got stiffed were barking up the wrong tree.

What if you have really rotten kids?
