Shortly thereafter, "CSI Miami" had an episode based on this. It was a pretty swimmer whose photo went around the world in 15 minutes. She wound up dead. Turned out that another girl killed her in a disagreement over a guy.
When I see news stories like this, I wonder how quickly it'll turn up in an episode of the current cop/lawyer shows.
