Oh, 100 percent agree on him being a great player. Kind of guy who could end up with 7-8 majors. Maybe even a couple of more.

Just as a fan, I'm more in the camp of Rory, DJ, J-Day and Rickie.

And I get that. But other than the s .... l .... o ..... w ...... play, he's not exactly wearing the black hat out there. In fact, I read (or heard) he was voted the most likable guy on tour. Which is saying something when you throw in the slow play.

BTW ... I'm a big fan of the four-year rule. When I saw Spieth was playing this week, I was surprised. Then saw the other big names a week after the Open. Saw the four-year rule and even though they're "independent contractors," this really is a good thing.

I've said this before......I think Spieth is a great kid. Great personality, but I can't stand to watch him play. It is mind-numbing to me.

I love when they have the mic on Spieth. His interaction with his caddie interests me and he talks to himself (and his ball) the way I used to back when I attempted to play golf. He has no problem showing his emotions, which is great.

The disconnect between the golf commentators and the caddies is amazing. The commentators want to tell you every shot is impossible so as to build up the golfers as superhuman. The caddies work, as they must, on the assumption that OF COURSE their golfer can execute the shot so they are relentlessly positive about the very same shot the commentator is calling impossible.

Was rooting for Ms. Kang because we share birth cities; was a great back 9. She missed a 5 footer for par to fall out of the lead, then promptly birdied 3 straight (10-20 footers) and holed another 12-15 footer for a clutch par. Finally, Henderson charges back with back to back birdies on 17 & 18 (one roll from an eagle) (she's going to be good for a while, great combo of power and "onions" per Bill Raftery) while Kang bogeys 17. Now tied on 18 tee after a 3 shot lead evaporated, Kang rips a 260 yd drive into perfect position (into sight breeze) then greens a 233 yd 5 wood and two puts for the winning birdie.

Great finish.
