Actor Tommy “Tiny” Lister--best know for his role as “Deebo” in the movie “Friday”--is seen here in a United States Marshals Service mug shot taken after he was charged in an August 2012 criminal information with participating in a multimillion dollar mortgage fraud scheme.
Lister, 54, has signed a plea agreement calling for him to cop to a felony conspiracy charge. Additionally, the actor has agreed to “cooperate fully” with federal prosecutors and IRS and FBI agents probing the financial swindle, according to U.S. District Court documents.
In fact, Lister began cooperating with federal investigators last year, records show, and has provided probers with a detailed account of the fraud he perpetrated with several coconspirators. Lister is scheduled to plead guilty to a federal charge at a November 19 court hearing.

Yes, really. How many black folk you know watch wrestling? Or how many women? But we've seen Friday.

Yeah, Friday is absolutely what I know him from, and I'd guess that's the case with the majority of people who know him. I didn't even know he was a wrestler.

To each their own.

He had acted in a movie sponsored by the then-WWF called "No Holds Barred" as the bad guy foil against Hulk Hogan, who played a Hogan-like good guy character. They hyped the movie by trying to make him into a wrestler (albeit, not a very good one) and he actually had a couple of pay-per-view matches with Hogan.

Just watched "Friday" for the first time a couple weeks ago. The person who turned me on to the movie totally oversold it. Thought it'd be WAY funnier than what he said, and it was not.

1. Does he casually use a certain herbal medicine?
2. Did you before/while watching this movie?

He also was the president in The Fifth Element.

Wait, that's the same guy?!? Fifth Element is one of my favorite movies. I knew the guy looked big in the movie, but with that getup he was wearing, it was hard to tell.

"I don't want a incident!"

Pretty funny. I will definitely say no to No. 2. Unsure on No. 1, but I'm guessing likely so.

That would do it.

Friday is one of my 10 favorite comedies, high or sober.

Used to see him on occasion playing pick-up ball on the Venice Beach court. Scary sized dude.
