ABC just showed a very interesting exchange from yesterday after Patrick clearly had the right of way and Duno took exception and went like she was gonna ram her.
Patrick went to Duno's pit, Duno threw a towel in her face at least twice.
Also, Duno's pit crew looked like a bunch of thugs trying to keep Patrick away.

Anyone else see this?

It was pretty sweet. Finally Danica understands what everyone else feels like when they deal with her.

But for once, Duno acted like Patrick while Patrick didn't.

from waaaaay afar, seems to me danica doesn't much like having other women on her turf. then again, she doesn't seem to like many drivers, period.

Why is Danica in Duno's pit box? Once again, just like Indy with Ryan Briscoe, she's trying to start trouble.

That said, Duno is ****ing terrible and is the poster child of why ride buyers are dangerous.

Milka Duno drives slightly less well than a driver in a Saturday night school-bus derby.

Now that the Speraficos and Buckshot Jones are gone, Milka Duno is possibly the worst driver in American professional motorsports, barely edging out Marty Roth (both make Hiro Matsu****a look like an accomplished driver).

I'm gathering that Danica's beef was that Milka was making herself impossible to pass during the IRL's knockout qualifying, and therefore Danica couldn't get around and do a hot lap, thereby putting her 20th on the grid today on a track where passing is next to impossible.

Danica kept mentioning getting IRL sheriff Brian Barnhart to deal with Duno ... forgetting that stomping down to someone else's pit to complain will probably get you a visit in Mr. Barnhart's office. Barnhart is like the high school teacher who keeps threatening to do something, but never actually does.

Still, how many drivers have had a problem with Danica now? Off the top of my head, I can think of Dixon, Wheldon, Briscoe, Duno, Rice ... there are a handful of others, I know.

Agree. When I first saw the headline I figured it was Danica being the wench -- she's just so whiny during every in-race audio clip -- but I can't find much wrong with her here.

And "it's not my fault that you're slow" is a great line.

Not an expert on IndyCar, but it sounds like it's rare to see Danica come off as the voice of reason. Duno comes off like a total ***** who doesn't want to hear any of it and decides throwing a towel twice is a good idea...any other backstory here?

Danica isn't afraid to stand up for herself or issue mealy-mouthed platitudes when her equipment's not up to snuff. This is considered "bitchiness" by those who haven't evolved yet. ::)

Milka Duno can't drive for **** but her sponsor has purchased an IRL ride for her.

read all about it.

Milka Duno is a completely ****ty driver. Not just a bad driver, not a misunderstood driver. She is a danger to everyone on that track at all times. ALL times.

Danica's in the right with the issue, but she's got to handle it other ways than continually going down to others' pits.

Remember when Ashley Judd called her out a couple years ago?
Now that's a catfight I would have loved to see.

Don't ever compare Buckshot Jones to Hiro Matsu****a... Hiro was a moving chicane...

The only place Milka should be throwing the towel is "in"

And is it just me, or has Danica spent more time in other drivers' boxes than in Victory Lane? (she's right on this issue, and I'm not saying that just because she's hotter [even though she is] but still)

I don't have a problem with her going to Milka's pit, in this instance Danica appeared to be behind the wall and the session was over, as best as I could tell. In the heat of the moment it's what you do, as opposed to waiting 'til nightfall and settling it over a bottle of Merlot in the motorcoach lot. These confrontations happen all the time but few end up on YouTube.

That piece strike anyone else as a bit skewed? Makes it sound like Patrick was the out of control hothead and Duno more the voice of reason, but the video depicts the reverse, at least to my eyes.

Patrick's a bit more justified for going to the pits this time. Duno was clearly the one at fault on the course, she's gonna cause some serious tragedy one day if she keeps driving like that.

I thought the same thing and it surprises me, because I read Cavin online regularly and he knows his stuff.

You can certainly make the case that Danica needs to stop the confrontations in the pits, but she's not the one who comes out looking like a jerk in that video. And Duno has no business racing on this level.

I thought it was a douche bag move for Duno's crewmember to put his back to Danica's face. How unprofessional was that? If Danica were a guy, that guy wouldn't have had half the balls to disrespect her like that - his ass would have been on the ground.

If Duno can get a ride purchased for her, for the love of God, someone get Tanya Harding into a car.

[EDIT] Putting Tanya into one of those cars would be like packing 30 pounds of **** into a Ziploc bag. Maybe Kevin Harvick's available...
