Oh please! CCR is in my Top 5 favorites and would love to either see them live or hear some new music. But Fogerty is such a **** I'm not going to hold my breath.

The prospects of a big-bucks reunion tour can do wonders for resolving issues.

If they think they're going to cash in, I suspect they'll be disappointed. And Fogerty's brother is still dead.

That’s what no man older than 50 wants to be described as. At that point, might as well just call us old ****s.

I believe that’s the word they used on The West Wing to describe Alan Alda’s presidential candidate character: spry.

****ing spry.

A great John Gagliardi line: There's three stages of life. Youth. Middle age. And, "Boy, you're looking good."

Creedence Clearwater Revisited sat behind me at a Braves game once (they were performing post-game). Those were some weathered-looking guys: one looked like he'd been in the sun constantly since about 1972.

I saw Fogerty a few years back when he was doing the “best of 1969” show, which basically was all CCR. It was a great show. Outdoor venue. His voice was great and his backup band was fantastic.

I saw Fogerty last summer with ZZ Top
Fogerty opened, and I was told he alternated opening and closing shows with them
His son played with him and Billy Gibbons came out and sang a song with him
It was an excellent show
Lot of CCR, but Rock and Roll Girls, Centerfield and other solo songs
ZZ Top was excellent as well
