My merlot of choice was something called Electric Reindeer, SC. Bought it over the holidays and drank the almost whole bottle while grilling out some bacon-wrapped Omaha Steak filet mignons.

My favorite buzz these days is cheap merlot. And wine never gives me a hangover, for some reason.

The cheap merlot is not bad. I've had better but at like $3.50 a bottle (on sale), it's money well spent.

Which reminds me, I just watched Sideways for the second time, and I liked the ending a lot more than I did the first time I watched it.
