When did that particular group of the Catholic Church hierarchy get a football team?

(Sorry... all the good other ones were already claimed)

BTW, that game is the debut of the new stadium in Glendale. Saw a few AP photos of it yesterday -- an interesting looking stadium.

Supposedly the new stadium is designed to look like a coiled up snake, but also a cactus.

I like to call it a snactus.

It is, at the very least, an interesting looking building.

Water, meet screen. Screen, water.

Damn that was funny.

OK, it's just a preseason game and it was, like, the eighth-team offense, but right at the end of the game, the Cardinals got called for an illegal formation penalty ... and they were in the victory formation, just kneeling down to run out the clock. Classic Cardinals. They can't do anything right. New stadium, same old god awful Cardinals. But they do have all sorts of talent now. No more excuses.

Watching the game on NFL Network, I was constantly amused by the Cardinals announcers talking about how the stands were a sea of red. But when they'd show the crowd, it was easily 1/3 Steelers fans.

Inky, what's the verdict on Jacobs?

I didn't make it that far into it. I only watched the first quarter. And then it was time to do some work around the house. (Note: When installing light fixtures, make sure the correct breaker is thrown. Triple check it. You do not want to try to wire in a light on a hot line.)

I saw him throw one pass, and he pushed it. But he has some mobility.

And many in the crowd were Steelers fans.
