There is no chance this will be good. ****ing none.
 
I think the last line of the Variety story summed it up pretty well:

"Gardner is hoping that, in addition to a TV series, there would also be branding opportunities for Blue Brothers merchandise, including the Bluesmobile."

Screw the good memories of the Blues Brothers movie (not that horrible sequel); let's just make some money!"
