"Gardner is hoping that, in addition to a TV series, there would also be branding opportunities for Blue Brothers merchandise, including the Bluesmobile."

Screw the good memories of the Blues Brothers movie (not that horrible sequel); let's just make some money!"

If they can get John Belushi, John Candy, Cab Calloway, Ray Charles and James Brown to star and John Landis to direct, I'm all for this.
