I guess after last night's show, the target on Ian might be bigger than I thought...

Great episode.

It is but I think that changes sooner than later. The reality is that this alliance isn't going to last long. Frank, Dan and Shane are big threats still and they are going to take their shots to get Frank out now while they still can.

You guys think Dan stays loyal to Frank now or just long enough to preserve himself? I think Dan believes at this point he's a good enough player and orator to beat anyone left in the house and doesn't care who he sits next to at the final.

I think Dan is banking on someone else taking Frank out.

If Frank somehow wins, he will truly have deserved it. If he is in the final two, anyone in the jury house who doesn't give him their vote is not voting based on actual merit.

I would think that Frank would beat anyone if he makes it to the Final 2.

Frank is one of the best challenge competitors I've seen on the show. But he really is an idiot.

That magnificent ******* pulled it off.
That was exactly my reaction, too. Just stunned amazement, and easily one of the most brilliant -- if not THE most brilliant -- move in BB history. Deciding to out the Quack Pack was a good move, but planning the flip-out on Danielle to earn sympathy for her and ensure she sticks around? Machiavellian, dude.

Eh... He doesn't strike me as being that dumb. I'm not saying he's bright, but he doesn't seem any worse than the majority of the others... I think Ian and Dan are the only two left who would qualify as smart. The others all fall into the category of not necessarily dumb, but haven't done anything to make us think they're smart...

I love that.

Frank can't play for two weeks. But you need to get him out now, if you can. Back dooring is hard at this point of the game, so I would be straightforward and put Dan side by side with Frank. If either one goes, you win. Ian needs to pair up with Shane in a final two deal, but the problem is that Shane is an idiot and is going to keep carrying Danielle. She should be expendable. The one after, getting Frank and Dan out that I'd look out for is Jenn. But I would be less worried about her consistently winning competitions, so I'd take my chances on keeping her in there, even though she is nasty.

What is sad is that worthless Joe keeps skating on by. I read he was off the rope in the competition almost immediately. At this point, it might be worth trying to carry him through to Final Four. If you end up side by side with him for the $500K, you can count the money.

I usually don't watch this show. I didn't get the appeal. But between my wife and the rest of my family watching it, I've caught bits and pieces. What I saw on Wednesday night has converted me. What Dan did was brilliant, and I like Frank. Seems like a guy I could get along with well.

OK, I'm sold, CBS. Take the rest of my summer. And take my fall, as well. I like Survivor, too.

If Ian does what he should do and puts up Dan and Frank, the fact that Shane has Joe's loyalty will become perhaps the biggest factor on the show. Ian is in a good spot. He puts up Dan and Frank and then if one of them wins veto, he can put up Jen. Nightmare scenario if Jen wins veto again, though.

Dan is such a snake. I can't stand him now.

Jenn is annoying as all hell, too. She is going to act all tough like she did last time on the block, and then when she doesn't go home, think she was a strong competitor who saved herself. ... when Frank is the target, not her.

I love Ian. I loved when he got that bimsuth crystal and he was going on and on about bismuth. The look on Shane's face was awesome.

Dan won POV, and according to Hamsterwatch, he's going to take Jenn off as a "thank you" for taking him off last week. Maybe he thinks that helps him save face with Frank, who one would presume would be going out the door. I guess Joe is likely to be the replacement nominee...

I'm definitely rooting for Ian. If he gets voted out anytime soon, I could see myself losing interest in the show very quickly, but if he gets Frank out this week, I think Joe, Dan and Jenn will be targeted before Ian is.

I feel like Dan wins this thing easily unless Shane grows a brain overnight.

Ian seems intent on this quack pack thing when he should be targeting Dan and Frank the next two weeks. He needs to hope Shane wins HOH next week and takes Dan out. But for as smart as Ian is, I feel like they are really going to follow through on the quack pack and take out Frank then Jenn then Joe in that order.

Shane has no idea how good of a position he's in nor how to leverage it. When Frank goes, he becomes the best competitor in the house and he has two people in his pocket in Danielle and Joe, not to mention Ian and Dan who also stand by him.

If Ian gets to the final two with anyone but Dan, he wins in a walk.

SPOILER. So stop reading if you don't want the next HoH. ...

First, I find it funny that Frank was shocked that he was voted out. He was a beast as a competitor, but clueless about people. How he trusted Dan is beyond me. Dan is a snake.

Then, when Ian was the target after Dan won the HoH, until he won POV, I really was bumming. If Ian had gotten voted out, with Shane, Jenn, Danielle and Joe left, they might as well have caleld the show "Survival of the unfittest," after the people who have gotten evicted.

Dan is really good, but I can't stand him. Ian has been my boy the whole way, but I am shocked he has come up with wins when he needed them. I just read that he won the HoH. It sounds like Jenn was skulking around the house after the live show and she really wanted Ian out. She is going to be the target. Dan is doing his oily salesman act trying to get Ian to put Shane next to her instead of him. I hope Ian makes Dan sit in the chair. It would be a kick for me, if they somehow calmed Jenn down, and got Dan out of there. As long as Jenn is playing vindictively, I think Ian has to get her out of there. But he can't trust Dan, even if Dan says they have a Final Two deal (although Shane and Danielle would work with each other if the final four is them, Dan and Ian, so it would be natural for Dan and Ian to pair up). A week is a long time. If Ian can get Jenn on the block next to Dan, then win her over by saving her, he could have her as an ally (she is all alone in there, and nobody is going to vote her the winner) AND get Dan out. That is the best case scenario to me.

I don't think we'll ever know if Ian was Dan's target or not. I don't think he really was. I think Dan wanted Joe out and he was doing the smart thing by putting Ian up - selling the idea that he and Ian aren't in cahoots further while keeping Jenn as an ally by not nominating her. Joe was going home regardless and I think Dan knew that based on who was left in the house.

I think Ian has been a great player but he's blind when it comes to Dan and it's very clear. Funny, Joe seems to be the only one in the house that saw what a snake Dan is and now he's gone. He really should have tried to put together something to get Dan out. Ian needs to get Dan out but he won't. His next target should be Shane but it won't. It'll be Jenn then the Quack Pack has to go after one another, finally.

I just caught up on last night's episode. ... Oh, we know that Ian was Dan's target. Of course he was. I know it is hard when you are in there, but I don't know how Ian can be so blind. The others? They are dingbats. Dan is a snake. They have SEEN him be a snake. Yet, they still do whatever he tells them. ****ing sheep.

Ian is fubared next week.

Yep, I stand corrected, should've known.

And really, it's the right move by Dan.

It's amazing that Ian is so blind to Dan's motive. Clearly, Danielle and Shane are morons. They have blatant evidence that Dan is trying to make moves on them and they still don't seem to mind. If Danielle and Shane had a brain between them, they'd tell Ian to put up Dan and get him out then grab Jenn and make a run at Ian next week.

It's pretty simple for Ian right now: win the next veto comp or you're out. If he does win it he's in the final 3 HOH comp where he stands a good chance. Regardless, he's won $4k already and he's a shoo-in for America's favorite $25k, and the next time they do retreads I'm sure he'll be invited back. So not a bad summer for the kid.

I hope Ian gets hip to Dan before the veto meeting today. With Shane winning veto and presumably pulling himself off the block, Ian could backdoor Dan and really cement himself as the favorite in the game. In doing so, he'd also be well positioned to win the veto next week with another strong competitor (Dan) out of the mix.

Ian's best move right now would be to schmooze Jenn. She keeps saying how "alone" she feels. He should get her on his side, make a final two deal and hope like hell she can win HOH next week. Either way, taking her to the end would guarantee him a victory.
