High-speed trolleys running on a suburban route...one smashes into the other. Allegedly, one train operator still is trapped.

That's awful--prayers go out especially for the trapped operator. The T always seems so safe, that it's easy to forget that this can happen.

Jesus, I take that train whenever I go to Fenway. That's right near the Riverside station.

A miracle no one was killed; those two trains looked quite messed up.

I don't think the operator's out of the woods, yet.

The operator, who is a woman, suffered injuries that "appear to be very serious,” said Joe Pesaturo, spokesman for the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority.

Nope, ends on the edge of Newton.

Wow. Surprisingly, I always find the subways to be so safe regardless of where I go - and I honestly didn't think that this could happen, given that they were always so far apart.

Thoughts to the family.
