Sorry ... Thunderbird just pulled in 4 messages from the Gmail server.

(Free POP3 mail delivery from Gmail ... can't beat it with two plates of just-outta-the-oven chocolate chip cookies.)

It seems to have arighted itself by using IE to check it. It didn't seem to like Firefox for the afternoon but once I used IE, it all got sorted out and Firefox works again. It's just too weird.

You know, Flash, you're down to a mere 17.something posts per day.

I'd get on that if I were you...

;D

Flash, I had a similar problem on Firefox a few weeks ago. If it happens again, you may just need to clear your history and cache.

That happened to me. out four hours in both Firefox and IE, no one else was having problems. I never found out why.

POP delivery is why I switched from Yahoo to Gmail.

Happened to me with yahoo and when I got back into my e-mail account, some of my "new" mail was already read and some of my old mail was put in the trash .. very strange. I think something is going around.

I've had no trouble with g-mail.
Occasionally I get the temporarily unavailable message, but that is typically due to a bad internet connection.

P.S Ondeadline, may I join the "save the vowels" movement?
