Anyone plan on camping out for a PS3?

The Playstation 3 come out Friday. Anyone planning on camping out for one? I'm thinking of getting one and then flipping it, so I can make some Christmas money.
The local Wal Mart already has people waiting in line and I think Best Buy might be busy, so I plan to head to Target and camp out there.

Anyone ever camped outside of a store? Any suggestions?

I stopped by my local Best Buy last night before my rec league basketball game to pick up the new John Legend CD. As I walked in I noticed a few losers dudes camping out. I was confused. Then I saw the PS3 comes out in THREE days. I thought, "No way could they be waiting for this."
Turns out they are... Holy ****!

A few things come to mind:
1. This damn thing is $600, how can you afford it if you're sitting outside for three days and not working?
2. I understand the joys of video games. Where else can the Browns be a Super Bowl contender? But is this really necessary? They will make more, won't they?
3. Did I leave the oven on?
4. Have these guys ever seen a naked woman?

A lot of people are flipping PS3s for a quick buck. The $600 packages are going for more than $2,000 on eBay. If you've got the free time, camping out for three days for a $1,400 profit doesn't sound too bad.

I think they'll be just fine with ice skating lessons, piano lessons, soccer/basketball games and the traditional night games at the end of the culdesac. I'll also gladly buy them season passes to the local Six Flags-lite for $70 and let them be active rather than park them in front of the Grand Theft Auto or Madden 2012.

Luckily, girls aren't as into video games as boys.

I never had any games in my house, not even Atari, so naturally, when I went off to college, much of my freshman year was spent drink beer and play Ninetendo.

There's something to be said for getting it out of your system at a young age, assuming you can leave the games behind, but I'm glad my childhood wasn't spent in front of the TV.

$600!!!! Thats amazing....I'm glad so many people have that much disposable income. So $600 for the console, $60 for games, countless wasted hours sitting in front of the tv.

Someone should do a story asking those people in line how much money they make a year, whether they rent or own. What their debts are.... if they're paying child support, student loans, credit card debt, car payments.

Spend your money however you want, but don't ***** about your slot in life and financial burdens if you spend that much money on a video game system.

No games on the PC either?

Actually, the little ones like doing some of the games on Noggin.com or Nickjr.com. But we try to limit how much time they spend on the computer.

Personally I think the PS3 will be a relative flop. There's a lot more excitement around Nintendo's Wii.
