Any Other College Aged Sports Writers Here?

Hey guys.

Long time reader, (aside from a few Yankees related posts) first time poster. I've frequented this site over the past year or so, and needless to say, I see it as a wonderful tool for sports writers looking to make something for themselves. As a senior in college, I find myself in the same boat. I have experience that I like to think would be great on a resume, but I guess I picked a tough time to graduate college and jump into the industry that I've always wanted to work in.

So my question is, are there any other college aged sports writers here? Or am I the baby of the website? I really want to know how other people my age are handling themselves in the industry and I want to compare different strategies of how to break into the business, writing styles and anything else there is to compare. I hope I'm not alone, when it comes to being young but determined.

If you're not a troll, you're so miserable at communication that you should quit this industry immediately. You were not meant to communicate anything to anyone. Perhaps you could sew your lips closed then lop off your fingers one at a time until you don't have enough digits to complete the process. Then you could head to a butcher and accidentally stick your fingers into the rotating blade used to slice deli meats. I prefer my bologna thick and my turkey thin. I prefer all of your fingers removed. Without a mouth or fingers, though, you still risk being able to communicate with one of those fancy Christopher Reeve machines. Luckily, you're a journalism major. So you're in debt and could never possibly hope to afford such technology.
