It appears six members of Texas A&M's sailing crew have died in the Gulf of Mexico. The team was preparing for a regatta, and the Coast Guard has found the boat (capsized) w/ no crew to be found.

Seems like this school is always in the news for this sort of thing. Sad, sad, story.

This sucks. Now I've gotta make phone calls to make sure all my siblings frieds are OK. Jesus, I'm beginning to think College Station is cursed.

AP is reporting the Coast Guard has found five of the six crew members, and they're in stable condition.

The link in the first post now goes to the updated story that they've found 5 of the 6.

And sounds like the missing person isn't a student.
Not to make it like that makes it ok, honest. Just saying.

I don't get the references to A&M and all the curses or tragedies. I remember the bonfire incident, which was at least 6 years ago, but I don't know of any others. I'm not making light or criticizing, I'm just not aware of why people say A&M is cursed.
