Honestly, I think having a D or R next to your name doesn't make you any better or any worse when caught up in these things. Not sure who the remark was intended for (maybe all of us) but most Democrats don't pass themselves off as being morallly superior to others (as least in terms of the popular sense that makes up morality within the political world), as many GOPers do. It's the hypocrisy that has many of us shaking our heads.
