The usual when I'm without my fix....shakes...little bit of a fever...paced a lot....

I randomly insulted complete strangers on the street about the Steelers and salary caps!!!!

I did try to explain the greatness of the Steelers' defense to my daughter, but she turned back to watching Phineas and Ferb after about a minute and made it clear I would be on the receiving end of a stuffed animal to the face if I interrupted her again.

Maybe she would have paid attention longer had you been talking about a different team. ;D

Why settle for an also-ran when she can root for the Super Bowl champions?

Actually, she does watch parts of the games with me. She likes to give me a high five when something good happens. She just loses interest after a little while.

Gawd, I would have paid good money to have seen her offer you a high five when the Cards took the lead late in the fourth quarter of the Super Bowl.

At that moment, I could have used the laugh, though I was at a buddy's Super Bowl party that night. I was surrounded by people rooting for the Cardinals, so maybe that mental image will make you happy. Just try blocking out the rest of the game.
