Last night, a co-worker asked me if I set the DVR for tonight. "For what?"

And that's how I found out American Idol began tonight. For some reason, I always think it begins after the Super Bowl so I don't pay attention. And then I realize it's already begun.

I wouldn't be excited after last season. It was sort of dull. I started watching S4 and I don't think there has been a season since that was as good.

Well, unfortunately he had to go to OKC to audition last season cause they've never been to KC. This year, they came, probably in the wake of Cook winning

Didn't really get into the show until last season when I lived with two girls who absolutely lived for the show. Not so much for the auditions, but I'll likely watch when they get to the Hollywood portion.

I wonder who this year's "David Archuleta" will be. I could not stand how everytime he got onto the stage last year, all the girls couldn't seem to shut up about him or how they wanted to have his babies, etc.
