Rick Perry tells Iowa voters he'd give Cain a cabinet post.

Cain says he sees himself at DoD.

Perfect......

Rick Perry would be wise to smack Cain upside the head with a cabinet post, or any piece of furniture that might have a post.

Cain's suggestion that he be "given" the DoD gig was named the Lowe's Balls of the Week by John Stewart...if you haven't seen it, do yourself a favor and watch Barbara Wa-wa's reaction during the interview.

I cued up that Daily Show last night. ;D Stewart's been on a roll lately. His Gingrich bit from Thursday night was great as well.

Words fail me.

Greater sanity was displayed in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest.

Moronic children, bouncing off rubber walls.

I just actually read Perry's comments again: (from msnbc)

Asked by a voter at a meet-and-greet event in Spencer if he would consider making former presidential candidate Herman Cain the Secretary of Defense - a position Cain says he would like to hold - Perry responded that Cain's "outsider" status make him a prime candidate as an appointee.

"I think it's a little early to be deciding on your cabinet, but he has all the characteristics of the type of people I will bring forward," Perry said.

A perfect response by Perry would have been, "Health and Human Services since he seems to understand human services."

That would have required a sense of humor, from a guy who laughs at his own jokes.
