Active shooter targeting police in Philly

As of 7:25 p.m., the police were trying to communicate with the shooter. Six officers injured to this point, apparently none life-threatening.

Philadelphians still treat their police better than their police have treated them. Google "MOVE 1985" when you have a few minutes. And Frank Rizzo wasn't exactly a peach to black folks when he was mayor.

Isn't the recent DA a progressive who promised to stop prosecuting low level crime and received some blowback from career prosecutors and police? And there is a huge opioid/heroin problem with large camps of homeless people. Seems like a situation that has been pretty bad for a while without anything working right now.
