911 operator wanted to make sure it wasn't an iguana. It was an 8-foot alligator.

I asked on another thread -- one that was, ahem, started later on another board -- if it's still illegal to hunt gators, whether the authorities would make an exception if you had one mosey into your kitchen.

Plus, the Marx Brothers would have a field day with this ... Is that an alligator in your kitchen, or are you just glad to see me?

It's legal to hunt them in season. They seem to take exception if one moseys into your kitchen.

My aunt had one show up in her yard one day, in a very concreted townhouse subdivision. Scaly ******* kept her unable to leave her house until animal control showed up.

I couldn't imagine finding that in my kitchen. Although, it seemed pretty at the start of the clip. Once the dude waves the towel, not so much.

Great stuff. I've played some golf in that community and have seen a few gators. That kind of thing isn't at all uncommon in many pockets of Florida. But the 911 call makes the story ... "are you sure it's not a large iguana?"
