The Dodgers have plenty of young outfielders, which matches up well with the Tigers, who could use outfield help

Those are the same four saves he had when I made a similar post more than a month ago. But that one was also about Kirby Yates, who blew another save a couple of days ago after needing months to get the ONE he needed for 100 in his career.

The question is which ones they would move for a rental. I'd want Josue DePaula or Mike Sirota, who has emerged as an elite prospect over the last year or so, but that's a high price for two months of Skubal. They may try to sell teams on James Tibbs, but I think he is fool's gold.

I would be happy with Quintero and/or Hope and a pitcher. Dodgers rarely give up prospects they want to keep. Alex Verdugo and Gavin Lux are examples.

Well, since no one's talking about it on here, I'd like to congratulate Jordan Walker of the Cardinals on his win in the Home Run Derby. Pretty exciting finish too, as he homered four times with one swing remaining to edge out hometown hero Kyle Schwarber. I had no dog in the fight, but I was glad to see Walker win it after getting booed by the Philly spectators, the most miserable fanbase in sports, and send them home unhappy.

Heading to St. Louis this weekend to catch the Braves series there. If I don't get to participate in the weiner crowd surf or whatever that is, I'm going to be very upset.

I did not get to participate in the weiner crowd surf on Sunday because there was no weiner crowd surf. In fact there were no weiner-related antics the day I was there, which felt purposeful.

I did, however, get to watch the Braves' lone win in the series, so that was nice.

Just an absolute own goal by MLB by putting this **** on Netflix. We wanted to watch at the bar. Couldn't. I don't subscribe to Netflix and wasn't willing to just for this, so I didn't see a second of it. It's one thing to put a random game here or there on streaming, but one of your signature events should be at least on cable where you can go out to watch it.

I'm aware. They're going to have to figure out a way for bars and restaurants to stream through DirecTV, much like Amazon does with its Prime games on Thursday. That capability does not currently exist.
