Play-in games are done, on to the real deal!

I’m enjoying the last “We’re just happy to be here” year for the Cavs before the weight of expectation starts next year. Luckily Mobley will be improving along with those expectations.

The entitlement of Warriors fans is incredible.

Hey I was responding tongue firmly in cheek.

On the one hand, this may be the year we get something other than a top 4 seed playing for a title. Lakers and Warriors can easily advance through the bottom of the bracket. And if Suns and Nuggets have to go the distance against each other, it opens things up more.

On the other, the Warriors’ road woes are real. Wiggins will be rusty. Kings have magic.

I’ve been laughing to myself when I hear people thinking the Dubs are just going to turn it on. I’ll believe it when I see it.

Since when is hoping positive thoughts for your team = entitlement?

I recognize that we fans in the Bay Area have been soooooo fortunate. I tell my boys this every time. When have I ever said the teams were owed anything? I don’t think so.

If just hoping for a good result = entitlement, then guilty as charged.

I’m a fan of moments.

When the Dubs get rolling, they’re a sight to behold. Same with Dame, Tatum, Giannis, Durant, Jokic, Embid, Booker, Ja, Luka, the Heat and a healthy Kawhi.

I’m a fan of moments.

Every April, I try and get excited for the NBA playoffs. As I watch the 76ers up 17, I remind myself, “this is an unbearable slog for the first four weeks. Check bag in around Memorial Day.”

Amazing that Hubie Brown is still doing playoff games and providing great analysis. He and Rollie Massaminio were both gym teachers and assistant coaches over 60 years ago at the HS in the town just east of where I live.

The Cavs have four really good players and the rest are guys who don’t belong in a playoff game.

And he still wonders at the play of young guys rather than grumble that the game has changed.

Does Thibs really not have someone in his life to tell him he’s bald?

That pompadour thing on the front of his head makes me sad.
