Orioles are hitting .309 off Stroman. Jones, Kim and Trumbo are particularly effective. (As is Steve Pearce, but he's out.)

About double the sample size for Tillman against the Jays. They're hitting .299 off of him with 20 home runs. Bautista, Pillar and Tulo all have three bombs against him.

Could be about giving a fresh look, too. Might be the reason why the Orioles opted for Tillman rather than Ubaldo, who just started in Toronto last Thursday and would be on regular rest tonight.

That said, I'm a weird mix of nervous and confident. The way Baltimore plays, the power can go out at any moment. Then again, the additions of Bourn and Stubbs have given them a running dimension that they didn't have for 85 percent of the season. Both are on the roster tonight.

Deadspin just did it RBI baseball simulation with updated roster. Orioles won 18-12 and hit 11 home runs. Jays hit six dingers. Tillman goes the distance.

Trumbo at DH tonight for Baltimore, Bourn in right field. I like it. Definitely a better defensive option.
