I did not see a set already created, so I did it at Yahoo

Game ID #: 10385
password: homefield

(If a game for SJ is already created, let me know)

If not, please join this one. There are NO confidence points.
We are picking just against the spread.
*** Deadline is 5 mins before game time.
I wanted everyone to be able to still play, even if you miss or forget a Thursday game.
Spread the word to other posters here.

So we need to write down all the spreads then make the picks? Seems like there's a better way to be able to see the spread before we pick which bubble to hit.

4th and goal at the Xan

The spreads will be listed alongside the match ups.
The spreads may fluctuate from Tuesday to Thursday, but
you should always be able to see the spreads.

I see what you are talking about, Xan ... and the spreads won't come out til the week of the game.
So, we aren't seeing any spreads right not, just the matchups.

Four league members so far ... everyone's invited.

If the spreads fluctuate, is your entry booked when you make it? It's a pet peeve of mine that if I like, say, a home team at -3 and want to get down on it but then get stuck with -4 because that's where it is at kickoff. (Yes, I may have been a degenerate gambler in a past life)

Haven't signed up for this one yet. But if it's like last year (and I'm assuming it is), you can change your picks numerous times up until kickoff.

Need some of you West Coasters to jump on board.
Or anybody who's game.
Contest now has 11 players but the more the merrier.

First games to be picked are on Friday night, so there will be none of tonight's openers are on the list.
Still time to join, folks.

Please welcome Fall With Pawwl. And how did Samford-Georgia State become pick 'em material? Passive-aggressive revenge from a Yahoo employee that can't telecommute?

Colorado v. Colorado State is having trouble selling advance tickets.

I read that it's a series that's been around a while.
The Buffs lead the all-time series something like 61-20, but I'm picking the Rams to win this year's clash.

Also, I'm curious to see if any picker here can get more than 60 percent correct, since we are going strictly against the spread.

Consistently picking games correctly, against lines, is tough, tough, tough.

How come there's no more confidence points? I actually liked that part, even though I didn't know what the hell I was doing.
The confidence points part of it is the most time consuming, and I decided to change it for this year.
If we want it back, we can change next season. Or for the pro game that's likely to pop up here in a few days.
I just figured folks would enjoy a reprieve from having to make all the spreads decisions, then go thru all the confidence points time consumption.
For me, that's always what takes up too much of my time.

I like the idea of going without confidence points.
