Lamar Odom was disappointing as a Clipper to most, I think, but he was still a good player. Also, Elton Brand was a monster with the Clippers, and that probably gets overlooked because he cratered seemingly the second he signed with the Sixers. While not a world beater, Chris Kaman made an all-star team as a Clipper and was an above-average center.

I should have included Brand and Bob McAdoo, and maybe Loy Vaught and Corey Maggette. They also had a lot of good players who had short stints with the franchise when they and/or the team sucked, like Pooh Richardson, Sam Cassel, Ron Harper, Bill Walton

Yeah. And in our hypothetical rosters here, I imagine that much like the playoffs, it's more important to have a really strong top five, top seven or eight, than a top 12. In our hypothetical series, only the top 8 or 9 would probably be getting major minutes.

Not if you use the same ground rules as the guy who listed the Clippers and include their entire franchise history. Remember the Kings were the Cincinnati Royals, which means you get prime Oscar Robertson and Jerry Lucas.

Orlando could be pretty stout.
Early Shaq and Dwight Howard is a beastly front court, and you can throw Horace Grant in there as well, as the dirty work guy. Penny and Dennis Scott at the guard spots gives you a solid starting five. Then you add Tracy McGrady, Nick Anderson and an effective Scott Skiles off the bench ... I mean, they're not beating a Celtics or Lakers all-time team, but they'd do pretty well for themselves. Not bad for a franchise that's not even 30 years old.

Sacramento would be OK, but probably middle of the road. Oscar Robertson, Webber, Mitch Richmond and Peja are clear nominees, and from there, you have a lot of guys who were above-average to fringe all-stars. Mike Bibby, Vlade, Brad Miller. Just thought about the Knicks. The only two guys who'd make their all-time team who weren't on the early '70s team are Ewing and Bernard King. Kind of sad, seeing they're an original franchise.

Of the glory years, you get Willis, Clyde, Bradley, Pearl and Dave D. Maybe you add Barnett, but I don't think that Lucas or Cazzie make the cut. I think Ewing, King, Oakley, Melo and Houston are locks. Maybe two of Cartwright, Spree, Barnett and Mason.

Kyle Lowry probably sneaks in there. Three seasons with Toronto, one all-star berth. Antonio Davis made an all-star team one of his four years in Toronto, and although he spent six years playing for the Pacers, they probably wouldn't have him on their team because of better options. Camby only logged two years for the Raptors, but I doubt the Knicks need him. Six years on the Nuggets, so they might have him instead.

The all-time leaderboard for the Raptors is pretty bleak though, you're right: Toronto Raptors Career Leaders | Basketball-Reference.com - Morris Peterson and Alvin Williams are in the Top 10 for minutes played. Jose Calderon, Doug Christie and Andrea Bargnani might be in their 12-man all-time rotation. Amir Johnson and Valanciunas are in their Top 10 for all-time rebounds, so I guess they're in too.
