Your cheapest moment

There's something about the GISA schools ... they put out good spreads for high school ... even for officials.

One of the girls I work with switches her old pillow for a nice pillow every time she stays at a nice hotel.

My cheapest moment happens every year at Christmas. When I make my list, I make sure to give Dr. J and my mom the reward points and discount coupons so I can get more stuff. I mean save them money.

This year, I've joined a program called e-Rewards. You get a couple of bucks for filling out online surveys and stuff like that. I've gotten a ton of points and I'm using those to buy little presents. Free Blockbuster rentals, Borders Bucks, magazine subscriptions -- stuff like that.

Then I wait until I have a 20% off day at work and do all my shopping that way.

Earlier tonight, I drove over to a high school football game because a restuarant I like was catering the press box.

Where the hell do you cover games, Beverly Hills?

The next prep football game I attend that has a spread will be the first.

Come down to Texas, Norm. Hell even the 1A teams have spreads in the press boxes.

Depends on where in Texas. If it ain't Dallas, Houston or San Antonio it's gonna take a hell of a lot more than a spread to get me down there. :D

None of those three, that is for sure.
Of course, I would rather visit my area than Houston.

I've been both places. I think Houston's worse.

Beverly Hills High doesn't have a spread, nor a press box, nor lights on its on-campus field. And BH 90210 was filmed at Torrance High. But I don't think Torrance has a spread either.

Um, I just let a woman at the putt-putt golf place wrongly assume my daughter is a year younger than she is - saved me $6. Her birthday was just a couple of weeks ago so it's not a complete asshole move.

Mosquitoes are a damn sight bigger.

There was an unopened and unsecured roll of toilet paper in the student union early one school year. I snagged it and took it home. I still had some left when I moved out at the end of the school year.

Yeah, but I bet you ran out of shirts, didn't you?

I've been known to pull returnable cans out of the recycle bins at my office.

That isn't because you're cheap, that's because you have hippie tendencies.

I should add that it was a very, very large (industrial-sized) roll.

Had a buddy in college who somehow scored a key to the janitor's closet in our campus apartment building...

didn't buy a roll of toilet paper, paper towels, or any sort of cleaning supply my last two years...
