The Women’s Sports Foundation, founded in 1974 by Billie Jean King is committed to bringing gender equity to sports:
· We get girls active in underserved communities.
· We fight discrimination and make sure Title IX is upheld.
· We give a voice to professional women athletes.

The Women’s Sports Foundation is seeking a staff writer, with demonstrated writing and editing experience in both web and print. The writer will be responsible for research, writing and editing for national organizational needs as well as program offices in other locations. The materials include, but are not limited to:
· Annual Reports, Major Donor Brochures, Press Releases, Media Advisories, web material, including grantee stories and athlete profiles
· Fact sheets and Backgrounders
· Executive Summaries
· Power Point Presentations, Messaging and Talking Points

Additional qualifications include:
· Ability to work closely with designer on layout
· Solid research skills
· Proven ability to write we quickly, manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet multiple deadlines.
