Actually, I guess we kind of get overtime because one day is a five-hour day instead of eight. But we get paid for 8. However, I was off that day (Wednesday) and worked an eight-hour shift on Thursday.

You should still be getting time-and-a-half for working the holiday, plus a day off.

Actually, we get double time when you work on the holiday (which also means you just get paid an extra eight hours of regular pay for working on that day. Works out the same.)

Time-and-a-half for "regular" OT.
