Sorry folks, I have no idea where that thread about who to start in fantasy football went, so I'm starting a new one. If anyone wants to go ahead and call my d_b, I'd be happy to move this question to that thread. Aaaaanyway.

Who's a better QB this week, Kurt Warner proving he deserves his job but possibly with a broken hand, or Tom Brady trying to show everyone that he's like, so OVER last week, pshah????

Brady. The Bengals' defense is opportunistic, but not that stout. So I expect this game to be a shootout.

Warner just doesn't have it anymore. He's got two great receivers and a star RB, and he still manages to **** things up more often than not. It's too risky counting on him.

Brady. I still believe the Bengals' defense isn't what some make it out to be, especially with Thurman suspended for the season and Pollard (broken neck) out for the season, too. And the Steelers showed that you can rack up yards -- just too bad Roethlisberger failed to take advantage of some plays that were there.

(If you're playing me, forget what I said, I meant Warner ... really. ;) )

Spup, you're gonna jinx Rex and the Bears with that sig.

Jesus, I just noticed that. Seriously, spup, get Sexy Rexy OUT OF THERE!!!

Thanks folks, just needed a push in either direction. I'll go with Tommy Dreamer, and try to find a good movie to watch if it all goes south on Sunday.

Pats will be throwing all day.

No-brainer.

Favre at Philly. He's being forced into 300-yard and multi-touchdown games because the Pack are playing from behind, so he's been great this season. Same can't be said about Bledsoe.

I wouldn't so much as have Kitna on my roster.

I do. And he's starting this week, because Jake Plummer has a bye. (Autodraft gave me both.)

I would probably go with Grossman, Trey, because of his consistency.

i'm another unfortunate kitna starter. in fact i have two ****ty and one mediocre QB (i couldn't make the draft so i let the computer draft for me...needless to say i won't do that again).

who should i start out of these three chumps:

alex smith vs. KC
john kitna vs. st. louis
drew brees vs. carolina

Alex Smith. KC's defense sucks balls.

True... but I would start him over Grossman this week.

Always go with a guy in a dome.

I will disagree with this statement. They normally suck, but I think this year, they may have something special.

I don't mean to aim this at Oz, but this just goes to show what happens when people just blindly buy in to blanket perception.
Favre's two good games came in the past two weeks. The Packers NEVER trailed against the Lions and jumped out to a 13-0 lead against the Saints.

His worst game of the year came in the opener against the Bears, when the Packers hopelessly found themselves behind in a hurry. The last thing you want if you have Favre is for the Packers to fall behind quickly. Patience in the offense and taking what the defense has given him has been Favre's key to success, not gunning the ball all around the field in an attempt at a comeback.

For the second time in recorded history, this bleeding heart liberal agrees completely with pallister.
