The Boise Burn. Wow. Can't you see how excited this state is? </sarcasm>

We didn't seem to notice that they finally picked a name or logo a few weeks ago. But I still don't understand why the orange man with the flaming head is biting the football.

Now, the next time you're in the Treasure Valley and want to pick up a skeezy chick, keep in mind that while there are treatments, there is no cure for Boise Burn.

Come on! You don't find a logo that resembles a burning penis to be attractive?

I just figured they were trying to look like their friends in football - the Boise State Broncos. Yes, those are the same Broncos that play on a stupid blue field that makes it really hard to see on TV. I wish all of the Broncos fans would suck the burning penis' in the Boise Burn's logo.

Don't worry. In a couple of years, the team will change its name to AFC Boise (that's Arena Football Club Boise). If they're still around, that is.

He might find it all too familiar to be attractive.

And,FWIW, arena ball can be pretty fun to cover.
But you've got yourself a crappy coach.

Any truth to the rumor that Cruex is signing on as a corporate sponsor?

I still fondly recall Olbermann talking about the discomfort that only takes place when the Wiz meets the Burn ...

HEH HEH! FIRE! FIRE! FIRE! LOOK, BUTT-HEAD! THAT DUDE'S HAIR IS ON FIRE!

Dude! Would you, like, chill out?

Sportschick must hang out with some really strange dicks. I've never seen a penis that looks anything like that logo.

Fun compared to.........what? Oral surgery without anethesia?

I found going to the AFL a lot like going to a rock concert, except without the music.

Plus, at least out here, nobody in the stands gives a crap about the final result. It's just a place to take ADD-afflicted kids for 2-3 hours. With all the **** going on during the game and on the loudspeaker and on the jumbotron, even the most hyper kids are satisfied.

No AF2 is like going to a rock concert. Say Survivor, for example.

Only, there's a new lead singer and the only original member left is the bassist, and he doesn't remember half the songs.

They may sing "Eye of the Tiger" but it's not what you expected.

I took my father to an AFL game last year. Got him really good tickets and he sat with my daughter while I covered the game. Final score was something like 64-59.

He said it was the most fun he'd had at a sporting event in years. So, it got the Grandpatato seal of approval.

And, covering it isn't any different than covering I-AA football in my opinion, except the athletes are better and the SID tries harder.
