When I get up, I always hit the same routine of Web sites: my competition's, the major metro, USSportspages.com, ESPN.com, SI.com and, of course, SportsJournalists.com.

What Web sites are must reads when you get up?

Usually goes some form of ESPN.com, my fantasy teams, my e-mail, my site, my competition's, and then other local papers before getting into the day's work.

My team's message boards have become, just about, my sole subsistence on in the internets these days.

Email, message boards, ESPN.com, rinse & repeat.

Chicagosports.com (The Trib's Web site), Suntimes.com, ESPN.com, CNNSI.com and SportsJournalists.com. And every Wednesday I read The Onion online. That's my routine.

E-mail, Yahoo.com, my.yahoo.com (for fantasy boards), SportsJournalists.com.

Work e-mail, personal e-mail, SportsJournalists.com, fantasy team, ESPN, SI. Competition are both afternoons, so check those when I get to work.

Personal e-mail, fantasy sports, work e-mail, my paper, competition, former paper, SportsJournalists.com ... then a shower.

Work email. Yahoo! email. I'm on the NY Times mailing list so I click on that, then work website, work email again and then glance at SportsJournalists.com.

personal e-mail, cnn.com, espn.com, SportsJournalists.com, some Springsteen lists I'm on, my paper's Web site.

Drudge (always first)
Two Web comics, PVPonline and Unshelved
Instapundit
Powerlineblog
ESPN
CNN
my personal e-mails in there somewhere
then SJ
and then maybe Slate

Work e-mail
Paper's Web site
ESPN.com
Rivals.com
Facebook (I know, I know)
SportsJournalists.com
Personal e-mail
Area PREPS message board (that's completely out of control)

Work e-mail, SportsJournalists.com, my current paper's site, my last paper's site, cincinnati enquirer website (town I was raised in), ESPN or SI.com, letsrun.com (I'm a former runner still addicted to the sport).

Repeat several times daily.

After reading e-mail on my BlackBerry ...

Paper's sports-specific web page
Paper's sports-specific fan forum page
SportsJournalists.com
U. of Podunk's high-traffic fan forum site
weather.com
golfworld.com
espn.com
facebook (sigh)

It's pretty amazing how much of a personal beatdown it can be just to check Facebook. I'm repulsed, yet I can't stay away...

morning routine:

personal e-mail
work e-mail
Paper's site
Competition's sites (including a local message board)
Previous paper's site
Romenesko/Poynter.org
SportsJournalists.com
Deadspin.com
NYTimes.com
Mondesi's House

I check personal e-mail, work e-mail, MySpace, SportsJournalists.com, Feministing.com, and I'm on the e-mail lists for Daily Candy and Ed2010 so I don't have to visit those sites.

I'm hardly a runner anymore, 15-20 minutes a day, but still visit there regularly.

Routine: Our home page, Romenesko, here, myyahoo (main account), local newspaper site, L.A. Times (specific writers mostly), L.A. Observed, APSE site, roadfood.com

Not all right in a row, but that's the rotation as I have time through the day.

I'm sorry but at first glance I thought that said Feministfisting.com ... just had a horrible mental image of Gloria Steinem and Ruth Ginsberg ...
