Database keeps running out of memory and crashing every few days. But it ran for two years with no issue so something else is sporadically hogging a bunch of memory... I haven't been able to successfully track it down yet, but I also have been pretty busy with family and my day job. Over Christmas I'll have a few days off work and can hopefully dig in a bit deeper. Until then we'll have to limp along I'm afraid.

So, you're saying we're the database's Cleveland State?

Could the troubles be similar to a cheap string of Christmas lights in that, when one bulb fails, the whole thing goes out?

Could it be resolved if we who are dim bulbs just tried harder?

Although when the search function is back in operation it's fun to peer back through the mists of time for ancient threads, might it be an idea to archive everything before, for instance, 2015?

So the solution to this is to put a word limit on Ragu?

And all this time I thought **** Whitman sent you a virus.

There was a time years ago when we actually talked about that, shutting down so people would go outside and do something or read a book or watch a movie or play with their kids or something anything. It isn't the worst idea in the world.

I kind of like this idea.

The other board sure is laughing about it.lol

What other board?
