Wanted: Deadbeat parents

Any word on whether Shawn Kemp is on any of those pizza boxes?

An attorney who focuses on fathers' rights cases called the tactic "horrible."

"It's just a way of shaming people," said Maury Beaulier, whose firm is in Eden Prairie, Minn.

Of course it is. And it's a good thing. ;)

Awww, poor daddies got shamed by the pizza box. Course their kids are eating peanut butter sandwiches for every meal because daddy couldn't be bothered to pay the child support.

There are few people I hate, truly hate. Deadbeat parents are among them.

Trust me. There are plenty other of other things I could come up with that would be worse than this.

Please...child support and alimony are the two biggest one-sided rip-offs going. And no, I don't and never have had to pay either one.

Whoa. No need for that. In some cases he's right. It's not a hard and fast rule in either direction, but the system isn't exactly free of abuse on either side.

Go **** yourself, you misogynistic asshole.

Sportschick,
You could have at least let given him a chance to explain himself first...

And then blasted him.

Alimony, maybe. Child support, no. If you don't want to pay child support, don't ****.

Mr. Spoon has spent most of posts bashing women or Title IX. That's all the explaining I need.

I disagree. If you're going to fly in with a drive-by comment like that, without even a shred of information to back up or explain that assertion, you're open game for blasting.

I happily pay child support for the welfare of my son (I also provide his health insurance, happily as well) and would, even if the courts didn't require me to do so.

That being said, I can understand some of the anger behind keef spoon's rant. The judicial system is INCREDIBLY unfair to the dad, especially those who actually are pretty damned interested in being a real parent.

I'm not going to delve too deeply into my personal details, although Rallen13 could certainly vouch for my committment and heart as a parent.

I guess I should have put the smiley at the end of the post...

I second this. He's a clearly defined troll with a history of bashing women.

The system is very much rigged to one side. And yes (apologies in advance if this is "misogyny") there are mothers out there who are glad to take daddy's money but will fight any attempt by the father to be part of his child's life.
