There was a rock remake of "Beat It" that was up for rock song of the year?

The VMAs are apparently now aimed at 10-year-olds. I remember when the Monkees played the VMAs.

Motherhood, maybe?

Or just way too much, Liz Taylor-levels of makeup.
Maybe cause she was going to perform... boobies are fine as ever for a 4-foot-9 girl

Don't you have to, you know, show videos before you can have an awards show dedicated to them?
[/IwantmyMTVnotTheHillsandallthatotherBScurrentlyairing]

Isn't the focal point of an awards show supposed to be the, you know, awards, not some publicity stunt done for the sole purpose of making sure everyone talks about it the next morning?

Why don't you google VMAs and figure out who won and stop grousing about it.
but that would be like, work.

That wasn't my point. I really don't care who won. I just find it absurd that the whole point of the show is not the awards, but making sure that something happens that everyone talks about the next morning.

And yet...you've found your way to this thread and made four five (I recounted) really condescending posts.

Aren't we all lucky?

Is there an awards show for right-wing talk radio? I'm sure smallpotatoes would be all over that one.
