Vick taken advantage of the whole way

Regardless of what you think of Michael Vick and what he has done, ESPN's Lester Munson wrote a hell of a story about Vick's money issues.

Basically, Vick has been taken advantage of every step of the way. It's really quite pathetic to see what has happened to a guy once making the sort of money he did.

This story -- and Michael Vick's sorry, sorry life -- should be a great example of how important a quality education is EVEN IF you are a can't-miss athletic marvel.

He signed a marketing deal where the rep got 25 ****ing percent of the income. Would anyone with two brain cells to rub together agree to such a ludicrous contract?

Let me just say this. Anyone who blindly let's someone else take care of their money is a fool. Plain and simple.

No one, and I repeat, no one, gets to touch and/or control whatever money I or my husband makes. Doesn't happen. I, or someone that values my life as much as I do, will always have control over what happens to my money.

There is no excuse for just blindly giving control over to someone else.

That's just my opinion.

Unless you or your husband fall into the elite athlete category and make $25 million a year, you cannot compare your situation to someone like Michael Vick's.

He's a victim of slimeball agents.

Does he get to abnegate his responsibility? Nope.

That doesn't change the fact that he was ****ed by the people he trusted.

There's no corporation in America that will touch Michael Vick when he gets out. Maybe after a couple of years, if he's successful and keeps his nose clean.

Seen Mike Tyson endorsing anything? Pete Rose as a pitchman? Pacman Jones as the face of Madison Avenue?

The answer in all three cases, as it will be with Vick, is, "Not just no. ****, no."
