It's bad to charge your phone up at night?

I do the same thing.

You're supposed to let it run down until it tells you to charge it (mine's 15 percent) but that's not doable for me, really, on days I work.

Oh, ****, I charge mine if it gets below 50 percent.

found out I'm within my within my window. went today to get the iPhone. Wellllllll, it seems that although I'm now deemed worthy to purchase one, now you can't get one. They're out. Not shipping any new ones until the first week of December.

To recap - when they came out three weeks ago and had them on the shelf and I was standing in the store cash in hand, I wasn't allowed to purchase one. Now that I've received the blessing, "sorry, we're out. you'll have to wait."

I'm in the same boat with my ATT iPhone.

I can order one now, and get it in three weeks, or call the store every day hoping new ones have arrived.

Seems all's well that end's well. My iPhone came via FedEx Friday. I had to go back to the Verizon store to get it activated, and so far, so good. I really like the phone and all it does.

Question for the smartphone crowd...not to be too personal (though we're all under aliases), but what's your monthly cell bill? My wife and I have our own phones/lines on Verizon, 1500 minutes and plenty of texts, and pay about $130 a month. Have had that for years; we haven't changed anything. Neither are smartphones so we don't do anything but call and text, but we're looking to join the smartphone party. Don't really want to pay a ton more, but also don't know if our bill now is far too much for what it is.

My phone was about $100 a month with the smartphone, unlimited data and unlimited texts. I added my folks and a fourth line for a guy I was dating at the time, and we're looking at around $190 a month. I have the only unlimited data plan, my mom has 5GB data, and the other two phones are not smartphones. But we also have the insurance and the roadside assistance.

Verizon 700 minute plan for me and my wife is about $120 a month. I've got an iPhone with the 2GB package and $5 message plan. She has an old-fashioned flip phone.

I went with a pre-paid phone recently. I use about 100 minutes a month and don't text a lot. I might switch to the T-Mobile/Walmart deal where you get 100 minutes a month, with unlimited texting and 5 GBs of 4G data for $30 per month.

You can get around the 100 minutes with apps that makes calls over WiFi.

I honestly don't know because my wife handles all the bills - honestly, if something happened to her I'd be screwed for a month or two until I figured it out!
But, I think it's in the $160 or so range. We both have the iPhones now with 2G monthly packages, 700 family minutes and unlimited texts.

Unlimited everything, all the time, with Sprint for $99 a month on my Blackberry.

My family plan has me, my wife and my brother-in-law.
Sprint charged us $110 for the first 2 lines, $15 for the third. They all include 1,600 shared anytime minutes, unlimited after 7 p.m. and unlimited mobile to mobile on any network.
Also, unlimited Internet and texting.
Sprint charges my wife and I a $10 "premium" data fee (my b-i-l's phone doesn't have this fee).
So for 3 lines, it's $145 before taxes, then it's $160.
Not a bad deal.

Same here, except I don't have unlimited daytime minutes. Forget how many I have. Think it's 400. Not sure. I've never gone over since I don't really make many phone calls during the day.

The minutes are never an issue with us. About 75-80 percent of the calls I make are Verizon to Verizon, so they don't count. Most of the 700 minutes used that we share are my wife calling people for work.
