Left. Right. In a box by the door.
What happens when you try to perform your biggest hit live while the tape with the backing synthesizer plays back at the wrong pitch?

Mein Gott in Himmel.

Eddie's trying to transpose on the fly, but my friend the musician says he thinks the synth playback's about 1.5 frets too high. Complete with annoying background noise and Inflatable Microphone Humping Fu.

That was purely awful. It sounded like a bad cover band gone wrong.

Considering how many original VH members there are on stage, you're not far off.

If that's not a months-old story, that is at least the second time that has happened this tour.

Old news is old.

This happened on one of their initial reunion shows. It's the same video which went around months ago.

wow, synth's have frets?

To be specific, about 1.5 frets' worth higher than normal. Tough to adjust by half a fret without learning to play the song in an entirely different manner from what you're used to. If it's a whole number of frets, you can move your hands up/down the guitar neck as needed.
