Holy crap.

Charlotte sure seems to have more than its share of horrible stories involving athletes.

I mean, just off the top of my head there's Bobby Phills, Fred Lane and Rae Carruth.

I know that I am a neophyte with Twitter... but how does anyone KNOW that is the doctor who would know?

I totally believe he is dead, but it does make me wonder.

The progression of the story has his condition going from "serious" to "very serious" to "life-threatening."

That's not a good sign.
