A correction: Apparently the flashing red light that interrupted play Friday night at Fenway was from a malfunctioning light in a bleacher concession kitchen in center field visible through the wall, while the fan rousted by security was merely your average D and D jackass. My apologies to Fenway's non-terroristic jackasses.

Lost in all of this has been the behavior of some fans and the sense of entitlement they have (beers or no beers)... thinking they can point a laser on the field, reach over and grab a ball in play, etc. **** like this has no place in baseball, let alone any sport.

That's priceless about Schmidt. God, I'd love to see that story link.
