I think Tiger is about to find out - if he hasn't realized it already - that the thrill of hooking up with him is less now that he isn't married, isn't as rich and isn't as good as he once was.

You did forget the blue font, I presume, DannO?

I think it's interesting that on both Boston sports talk radio stations this p.m., the sports news segment had this as about the sixth item, after who was present at Pats practice today. So much for the world's biggest story of November-December, 2009.
Now, when people ask "what's wrong with Tiger?" they're talking about his game, not his psyche. An improvement to be sure.

Does Pavin pick him? Does he have the rocks NOT to pick him? Yeah, I realize this isn't the thread for that but it's the Tiger/golf thread I currently have open.

I think he's gotta pick him. Even with how disastrous half of his swings look, he did have the second-lowest score of the players who made the cut in all four majors. Phil No. 1, then Tiger - who was better than Rory, who challenged Tiger or whatever last week. Challenged always seems like it should go in quotes when talking golf.

If I woke up tomorrow with my head sewn to the carpet, I wouldn't be more surprised than I am right now.

I can't take credit for this one...

Elin has done for golf what Robin Givens did to boxing.

I was talking about the thrill for the women. No secrets to keep, no leverage over him...
We've all seen the women men who go through big deal break-ups end up with. They just don't measure up.

I'm not so sure about that last assertion, Dan. Jeff Gordon, for one, did OK on the rebound. So did a number of men I know personally.

He's a dude with eleventybilliondollars. He'll get all the ass he wants.

Exactly. Don't think for a second that Vegas didn't immediately pop a boner upon hearing the news of the divorce being final.

I don't get it MU and I'm glad you don't take credit for it. Those were two completely different circumstances for divorce. Also, their spouse's downfalls were different. Robin Givens was not exactly the poster child of support for Tyson. Elin, from all that has been written, was supportive of Woods until the end. In short, two different relationships, two different divorces. If there is one common element its that the seemingly invincible tag on both Tyson and Woods was discarded around divorce but that's about it.

From Tiger's point of view? Survey Says? YES

I wouldn't say that. Tiger says that he's Cablanasian. Now I'm sure if your local police officer was booking him, he'd be considered black but that's another issue.
Woods evidently likes white girls.
But your statement heyabbott, that's pretty strong. Just sayin...
