This Could Be Interesting

Just wait. Maybe I am wrong and the complaint is about something different from what I think. But if I am right the size of the school will not matter.

Gambling? Game-fixing? Nah, not at Winona State. Murder? Can't think of much else that would qualify.

I heard about something a couple days ago before the article I posted came out yesterday. The people that told me should know and I have never heard of this happening in college hoops. But we shall see. The coach, as I understand it, is from a very wealthy family and that has allowed things to go on for some time. Maybe this will be nothing but lets see.

Not sure what the point is of starting a thread entitled "This Could Be Interesting" if neither the thread-starter nor his link will reveal anything about what "This" is. Hey guys, let's start a discussion about this very interesting thing that I won't identify or say anything about....

You are probably right.

I was curious enough to do a google search for conspiracy theories. Saw nothing.

As for the "Dumbness" of this thread -- on this board, there are plenty of qualifiers:)

Do you know what the investigation is about and are being coy for some odd reason, or you don't know and don't think a former coach has ever been investigated after resigning?

Yeah, unless this involves white-slavery, kidnapping kids and forcing them to play against their will while threatening their loved ones with bodily harm, I have a hard time thinking this will be some new low. In men's hoops, they're all variations on a theme, paying players, shaving points or screwing around with grades to make them eligible. In women's, it's sex.

I believe I know what is being investigated and it is something that is so out there that I have never heard of it before in "Men's" basketball.

Would have to be something like this, right? Anything else really isn't unprecedented.

Wait for it ...

I'm with JH. This has to be something outlandish to be of any interest outside the upper midwest.
