I apologize in advance if I'm just clueless. I don't live anywhere near the Left Coast, so, I'll plead ignorance if that is an acceptable excuse.

A group in outrage after a radio guy used the G-Word.

The offended in question, a group of black conservatives, are sponsored by a larger conservative group with past ties to the Abramoff scandal, they were middle men for payoffs.

I'll agree with both the aforementioned points, but do they have even the slightest of a point? Let's just drop all names for races/nationalities other than just what - white, black, Hispanic - they are and treat them the same. Nobody should get a pass when it comes to a slur?

Truly, I think it's more racist for someone to be upset about being called that (presumably by someone hispanic) than it is to call some white person a gringo.

1. I had a feeling before even scrolling that clicking that link was going to take me to the dumbest thing I've read all year.* I was not disappointed.

2. There is no "equivalent" word for white people to the N-word. Period.

3. If there were, it would not be gringo. It would be "cracker-ass cracker."

4. The idea of black conservatives on an AM radio in DC being experts on what is the most offensive word used by Hispanics toward whites is just funny to me.

5. Currently airing on that station is Midnight Trucking Radio. Just sayin'.

6. Here's Webster's definition. It's from the Greek word meaning "stranger" and is defined as a foreigner in Spain or Latin America or a non-hispanic person.
