Guys,
Why so much animosity with the David vs. David thing? Look, everybody got what they wanted. Mr. Hale was afforded the chance to be a "daily" beat writer for a respected shop and Mr. Ching has been given the chance to run a shop of his own in the town he preferred, and he received a nice raise to boot. Plus, he's got job security, which can't be said with McClatchy these days. And while I'm venting, if anybody's hiring practices should be questioned in this state, shouldn't it be the one within equal distance of Macon and Athens? At least Daniel hires based on prospective talent.
